Is Slut Roulette legit? How it works and what it costs
Short answer: Slut Roulette is a real random-match live-cam site for adults 18+. You can browse public rooms free, but chatting, tipping and private shows need a payment method on file and paid "gold" credits. The main risks are overspending on per-minute shows and protecting your own privacy if you turn your camera on.
How we wrote this. This review is based on Slut Roulette's own FAQ and independent reviews from 2026. We haven't finished our own hands-on test yet, so there's no score. Check prices in your account before you spend.
How it works
Instead of scrolling a grid of rooms, the site "spins" you to a random live performer, and you can skip to the next one or filter by your preferences. Performers apply through a model platform that requires ID proving they're 18+, according to the site's FAQ.
What it costs
- Browsing public rooms: free.
- Joining as a premium member: the FAQ says there's no membership fee, but you must add a valid payment method. It also says you may see a small one-time authorization on your card at signup, which is refunded within 7 to 14 days.
- Gold credits: used for tips, group "gold shows", videos and private shows.
- Private and exclusive shows: charged per minute at a rate each performer sets. The site says you see the rate before you confirm. Independent reviews report private rates of roughly $1 to $9 a minute, with exclusive shows costing more.
The FAQ also refers to a 30-day premium membership that recurs until you cancel it. That sits awkwardly with "no fee", so check your account's billing page to see whether anything recurring is active.
What to watch out for
- The meter. Per-minute shows add up fast. Decide a budget first, and see our cam site guide for how to stick to it.
- Your own camera. Cam-to-cam is optional. If you use it, keep your face, room details and anything identifying out of shot. Recordings can be made without your knowledge on any video platform.
- Saved cards. A card on file makes impulse spending easy. Remove it when you're done.
What's reassuring
- Public browsing is free, so you can see how it works before adding a card.
- Per-minute rates are shown before a private show starts.
- The site states that performers must prove they're adults with ID.
How to cancel or delete your account
According to the FAQ, you cancel the premium membership renewal or close the account by emailing customer service at supportteam@slutroulettelive.com. Include your login name, your full name and the last 4 digits of the card on the account (or your alternative payment account number) so they can find it. Keep the reply as proof, and check your next statement.
Our take so far
A real site with a clear "free to watch, pay to interact" model. It's best for adults who set a hard spending limit before they start and keep their own camera off unless they've thought it through.
